Bare-chested Muhammad Ali is jumping rope in training for the big fight in Zaire in1974 in this lot consisting of six 35mm from-the-camera original black & white negatives, on Kodak Safety film. Also included, for the purpose of identification, is a Type I vintage contact sheet that shows these images among other prints that include images that are obviously from his time immediately proceeding the "Rumble in the Jungle." The contact sheet measures 8x10" and overall condition is NM-MT. The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Muhammad Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
