Some important awards are included in this lot of eight, all are plaques presented to St. Louis Cardinal Mike Shannon for his accomplishments on the field and in the press box. 1) News-Democrat Hall of Fame plaque is cast bronze and has a photo of Mike on it. 2) Missouri Sports Hall of Fame plaque presented to Shannon at his 1999 induction. 3) 1987 Cardinals National League Champions with all players faces engraved. 4) 1997 Dr. Robert Hyland Award for Meritorious Service to Sports. 5) 1964 Cardinals World Champions with all players faces engraved. 6) 2008 Brian P. and Bob Burnes Nostalgia Award. 7) 1989 Brian P. Burnes Nostalgia Award for 1964 Cardinals. 8) 1990 20th Year at KMOX award has a picture of Mike. Overall these rate around EX condition, some with a few scratches, dents and chips, but significant honors nonetheless.
