Thanks to 13 shutout innings by Babe Ruth in Game 2, the Boston Red Sox bettered Brooklyn for the 1916 World Series title, and this was the press pin handed out to the media during the games played at Ebbets Field. It is in NRMT condition with broach style pin on the back, and it was manufactured by Dieges & Clust with their stamp on the back. Brooklyn was known as the Robins, a nod to manager and namesake Wilbert Robinson.
