This rare Yankee Stadium program is from the Light Heavyweight Championship of the World from June 10th, 1926, and includes corresponding ticket stubs from the lower stand. Supposedly a disappointing fight between Hillbilly "Young" Stribling and the champion, Paul Berlenbach, who held on to his title by a unanimous decision, mainly because Stribling was more concerned about escaping unscathed. What is interesting is that Stribling died at the tender age of 28 in a motorcycle accident after the birth of his third child. The program is 12 pages and measures 7x10", there is a 1" chip and a small tear in the border and a bit of soiling on the back. The stubs measure 3x3" and are in Excellent condition.
