This leather halter from "War Emblem" comes with two gold plaques; one reads "War Emblem 2002 Kentucky Derby," and the other "Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement." Well-used, received directly from "Old Friends," who provide a dignified retirement for thoroughbreds whose racing and breeding careers have come to an end. This is a very important horse and to win two tiers of the triple crown is a magnificent feat, as the horse was the 2002 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner. The halter still smells like the horse, measures 18x16" and is of beautiful quality and EX condition.
