These blessed hockey skates were worn throughout the 1980 Winter Olympics by Jim Craig and saw action in the games versus both the Soviets and Finland. These size 11 Bauer Supreme 49 skates have his uniform number "30" on the bottom in original black marker. Rigid leather boots with rigid white leather encasings, they look well used, but remain extremely tough and sturdy. Nicely taped on the blades, this is the most historic pair of hockey skates ever to be publicly offered. This lot will come with signed Letter of Authenticity and Provenance from Jim Craig, himself. Estimate: $75,000-100,000.
