The now-retired superstar gelding not only broke records on the track, he is the only horse in history to capture Eclipse awards for Horse of the Year, Champion Older Horse, and Champion Turf Horse in consecutive years (2012, 2013). The winner of this offering will take home one of Wise Dan’s aluminum front horseshoes worn during his emphatic 5-length win in the 2012 Fourstardave Handicap, his first of two wins in this historic race held during the prestigious Saratoga meet. The horseshoe is mounted onto a solid cherry plaque adorned with a specially-designed aluminum plate featuring his career highlights and statistics. The track composite photo (8x10") of Wise Dan winning this race and a letter of authenticity by Wise Dan’s veterinarian, who obtained the horseshoe from the stable farrier, accompany the horseshoe.
