You never forget your first. And for Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry, this baseball comes directly from the first of his 314 major league victories in 1962 when he made his debut with San Francisco, making it a very important piece of memorabilia. The official National League (Giles) baseball was used for the final out in that game and shows nice use. In Perry's own hand is written: "#1 April 25, 1962 Giants 8 Pittsburgh 3" and all the writing is in vintage ink.
