Going into the 1968 WBA World Title Tournament final against Jerry Quarry, Jimmy Ellis was the underdog. Even though heavyweights are known for slugging it out and using brute strength, Ellis used a different method against Quarry. It proved to work when he won the match in a fifteen-round split decision, as Sports Illustrated even called his method "a tactical masterpiece." This is an original 14x22.25" on-site poster from April 27, 1968, when Ellis defeated Quarry. The images on the poster were by world renowned artist LeRoy Leiman. Poster is in EX-MT to NRMT condition.
