The storyline of "Damn Yankees" is the mythical story based on the career of Shoeless Joe Jackson except it is Shoeless Joe Hardy who sells his soul to the devil for a chance to take the Senators to a pennant. The greatest musical interpretation of baseball ever done, with choreography by Bob Fosse and appears to end just like the real Shoeless Joe in scandal and tragedy but you'll have to watch it to find out.
