Rare carte-de-visite of a very young John L. Sullivan in period dress in the early 1880s, measuring 2.5x4" in Excellent or better condition. On the front is "greatest heavyweight champion of the 19th century," on the back handwritten "Compliments of W.H.L. much odds" which is a store of the day. So it could be considered a very early premium.
