From Jackie Robinson's junior year at Muir Technical High School in Pasadena, CA, in 1936, this yearbook is quite difficult to find and highly desired as he shows up in all FOUR major sports. The cover is made of aluminum and has a metal spiral binding (albeit stronger than the plastic binding of the senior year, it still managed to break apart in many books. This book is in extremely excellent shape with normal writing and wear with no moisture or water damage, no cutouts, no torn or missing pages. Jackie shows up with an individual head photo in the Varsity Football Section, an "in action" basketball shot, as well as an individual basketball photo, is pictured quite nicely on the Varsity Baseball team (where he was a catcher) and shows up with an individual photo in the Varsity Track section. This book, along with the 1937 are the earliest objective documentation in photo and text of Jackie Robinson! In EX-MT condition.
