Throughout his magnificent career and solidifying himself as the greatest baseball player of all-time, Babe Ruth acquired many nicknames. Among those were the "Sultan of Swat," "The Caliph of Clout," "The Big Bam." and the "Bambino." Featured here is an authentic original "Bambino" high grade tobacco tin with the original tobacco still inside! On the front of the tin is a silhouette of Babe Ruth swinging his mighty bat as well as the writing "Bambino," "Smoking Tobacco," and "High Grade Burley Rolled Cut." On the back reads "Bambino Smoking Tobacco, Is Made of Selected Burley Tobacco Naturally Aged and Pleasantly Flavored." This tin was produced during Ruth's playing days, and even though it was not a licensed product, the tin was created with his nickname to help sell the product. This is the nicest example we have seen and to our astonishment, the tin is still completely full of the tobacco it was packed with at the factory. Tax stamps affixed. Few minor scratches here and there, overall EX-MT, some would say NRMT condition.
