This classic banner was sold at World Series games during the 1961 Fall Classic between the Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees. Made of silk and measuring 17x9.5", it contains the printing "Souvenir of 1961 World Series Cincinnati Reds New York Yankees" in blue and red ink on a white background. It remains in excellent condition with original yellow tassels at bottom and a metal hook for hanging. In that series, the Bronx Bombers completed a dominant season by taking the championship in five games.
