Offered here is an extremely unusual set of three postcards issued at the time of the proposed Jack Johnson vs. Bill Squires fight in Australia in 1908. Squires is the dominant force here as "Champion of Australia" as these are made by Barroni of Melbourne. Best is one juggle showing, "Bill Squires - Australia...Jack Johnson - America...When they meet who will win?" Unfortunately, it never happened, as Squires instead went to America to unsuccessfully lure Jim Jeffries out of retirement. Has a few tiny tears and a couple of old tape repairs. First we have seen of any of them let alone a trio.
