One of the former major league catcher's letters, as well as one from Gehrig's widow, and NBC sports director Bill Stern - all completely unrelated - comprise this lot that is six degrees of the Iron Horse. Eleanor Gehrig expresses being touched by a doctor's commitment to study medicine as a result of having seen "Pride of the Yankees" while Stern's letter remarks about having seen an illness-ravaged Lou signing autographs in the blazing sun so as not to disappoint children.
