Lot Description  

He was the first African-American ever to be drafted by an NBA team. Chuck Cooper of the Boston Celtics, along with Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton and Earl Lloyd, became the first black players to compete in the NBA in 1950. His autograph, which sits atop that of Bill Sharman on this album page, is in pencil and is in NRMT condition.
