In 1875, Sandown Park opened its gates in Surrey, England, and shortly thereafter, this luscious wooden box was named for the famed racecourse. It measures 6" x 6" and is distinguished by a bone plaque on the top with "SANDOWN REGISTERED F.H. AYRES LONDON" printed. The inside of the box is lined in green felt and features names of period horses. It is missing the ball and key.
