Nice interesting stuff from an old time collector: early YMCA Bible Class watch fob (YMCA invented the game), two WWI basketball unused tickets with "War Tax," and 1910 Basketball bronze figure which was probably part of a trophy and is of exceptional quality. Then, an album page signed by Chuck Cooper and Bill Sharman. Chuck Cooper who became the first African American player in the NBA. Large, bold signatures in ballpoint on 4.5x5.25" album page. Also a Schafer Center sports booklet with many autographs including Bill Russell with a MINT signature alongside his picture and bio in this Schaefer Center Sports Booklet that also includes 27 signatures on the front and back cover, including Bob Feller, Sid Luckman, Lefty Gomez, Bobby Hull, Bobby Thomson, Jerry West and Rocky Graziano. The book is in VG condition. The last item, is a this early "Big League Basket Ball" game was manufactured by Baumgarten & Co., Inc of Baltimore. Featuring a plastic purple base, metal rim, wood basketball and orange mesh hoop, the primitive game that can fit inside the palm of one's hand is contained in a vintage 3.5" x 3.5" "utensil box" which has some flaking, along with the affixed label.
