A marvelous piece of baseball folk art recently discovered in the New England area. Made from sheet metal, this outdoor sign stood outside Braves Field in the 1920s. There are remnants of a paper poster affixed with a printing mark on bottom which reads simply and importantly "To-Day Braves Field Baseball." On verso is dated 1929 and is barely visible. It is in well used condition with great character let alone rarity. Measures 21 x 14".
