This is a great one for a couple of reasons. First, it is in Near Mint condition. Second, it was signed at the pin-nacle of Ruth's career, circa 1928. Clean and pure "Babe Ruth" signature on the sweet spot in blue fountain pen. The "Babe" is in quotes, a practice that Ruth only used with consistency until 1928. The ball is an Official American League (Barnard) model with great stamping and a consistent off-white coloring. This beau-ty even comes with its original box. A truly great example of an early Ruth single signed ball.
