This is the earliest copy of a University of Texas program that we've ever encountered. On November 9, 1989, the Longhorns met Sewanee University of Tennessee at Athletic Field, a public park in Austin. The cover of the eight-page program includes photographs of the teams' top players, including UT team captain and future coach J.B. Hart, as well as right tackle L.B. Bethea. Inside is a roster, scorecard (unscored) and several local ads for clothing retailers and a pharmacy. It is in Good condition with some creases, abrasions and spotting on the back. Southern programs from this time period simply don't exist, so here's your chance to own a special piece of history.
