The Yankees captured four of their 27 World Series titles during the decade of the '40s, and during that time, players and on-field personnel sported this rare style jacket to help bundle up on those cold April and October days. It features a blue wool body with "NY" in white felt on the left breast and Wilson size 46 tagging in the collar. It is in nice condition yet shows some team repairs. It is unclear who specifically wore this jacket but it is a style worn by the likes of DiMaggio, Rizzuto, Ruffing and the rest of the Bronx Bombers of that era.
