The 1936 Yankees were a juggernaut, winning half their games en route to the World Series crown. They were led by the potent bats of Lou Gehrig, Bill Dickey, Tony Lazzeri, Red Rolfe, George Selkirk and a rookie named Joe DiMaggio. This official American League (Harridge) baseball signed by all of those greats and many more has some brown toning and spots with signatures in black ink averaging 5/10. There is a marvelous Gehrig signature on the sweet spot with a small eraser mark above, where some writing may have been. There are 22 signatures in all, with a clubhouse Joe McCarthy, DiMaggio, Lazzeri, Dickey, Rolfe, Gomez, Selkirk, Powell, Glenn, Malone, Pearson, Crosetti and more. It comes with a more modern photo of the team.
