One of the most celebrated artists in American history, LeRoy Neiman was known primarily for his paintings of sports artists. However, the Minnesota-born expressionist would sometimes compose outside of his comfort zone. Case in point, his 1972 piece "Pierrot," which depicts the classic French clown with a minimum of colors and brush strokes. The limited edition lithograph we offer here is marked in pencil "E.A.," which is essentially an artist's proof. Signed in pencil by Neiman, the framed litho measures 20" x 26" and would beautify any wall on which it hangs.
