From 1929 to 1993, George Brace photographed over 10,000 baseball players in his hometown of Chicago, immortalizing his subjects on celluloid whenever they happened to drop by Wrigley Field or Comiskey Park. These two volumes include intriguing correspondence - mostly handwritten - from many of those players throughout the decades requesting photos.
