What's more American than baseball? This hand-painted Thomas Hinds cigar box is the work of artist Linda Schuermann and colorfully depicts the national pastime, perhaps around the time of the country's bicentennial in 1976. The red, white and blue motif illustrates a flag flying on a blue pole with a baseball in the upper left-hand corner where the 50 stars would be. Down the left side is "Cooperstown N.Y.," home of the Hall of Fame. The box measures roughly 12" x 7" x 2" with "TORPEDO AGED MADURO" branded at the base. It is in NRMT condition.
