The spitting image of the "Splendid Splinter" graces both of these classic Ted Williams baseballs painted by artist Jolene Jessie. The balls themselves are in NRMT condition with signatures rating 8 and 9 out of 10. The portraits are dated 1995 and 1996. The last player to hit .400 in a major league season, Williams compiled a lifetime .344 batting average and was named to 19 All-Star Teams while missing three of his prime years due to World War II. Williams died in 2002 at age 83.
