It was one of the highest-scoring All-Star Games in history, with the American League outslugging its NL counterparts, 11-7 at Ebbets Field. Straight from that summer slugfest, this bat was used by Browns third baseman Bob Dillinger and has a small hole on the knob that has been patched with putty. Still, the real value of the bat is that it was signed by some of that year's American League All-Stars including Ted Williams, George Kell, Bob Lemon, Larry Doby, Joe Gordon, Dillinger and the legendary Cy Young, who attended the game. The signatures are very light and the Young rates only 2/10 while Williams and some of the others are more like 3 to 6 out of 10.
