From 1915 to 1973, City College played baseball at Northern Manhattan's historic Lewisohn Stadium, which was modeled after Roman buildings, complete with Doric columns. When the team played its road games, this is what the Beavers wore... a beautiful, traditional wool uniform with black lettering across the chest and Spalding tags on the jersey. The glove is a black Everlast buckle-back baseman's mitt with very supple leather and the initials "SK" on the label. A very high-quality item. There are also sliding pads and white-and-purple striped socks. The whole ensemble rates EX-MT.
