On May 27, 1966 at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, Heavyweights Jerry Quarry and Tony Alongi fought for the second time in two months. The pair had fought the first time in Madison Square Garden to a 10-round draw. In this anticipated rematch, the verdict was the same after 10 rounds.
