In 1879, Rutherford B. Hayes was president, Thomas Edison tested the first practical light bulb, and the team that would eventually become the Braves hosted the Buffalo Bisons. This folded-over scorecard from one of the six games they played in Boston that season features pre-printed lineups. The Boston team boasts Hall of Famer Harry Wright while the Buffalo roster is distinguished by Pud Galvin. Scored neatly in pencil, it is in EX+ condition. Two years later, James Garfield takes over the White House, Kansas kicks off prohibition and Boston hosts Cleveland on May 28, as evidenced by this unscored official Harry Wright Scorecard. There's a small stain in the Cleveland Blues scoring field. The reverse side features a schedule and team records and is in VG condition.
