If you're a fan of sports art - particularly football pieces - then this terrific lot featuring accomplished artists is right up your "galley." Paul Rigby's pieces regarding the Giants football team include "We're Having a Small Problem" (signed and inscribed with a newspaper clipping of the cartoon) and "Things To Do Today" (signed with newspaper clipping, along with a handwritten note on New York Post letterhead and envelope addressed by the artist). Murray Olderman's two signed pieces include a signed "Ball Control Team/Green Bay" and "Larry Brown," which is signed and inscribed. There's a Bruce Stark cartoon entitled "Elimination/Giants, which is signed and inscribed with a Daily News mailing envelope addressed by Stark. There are also Mike Swanton prints including one of Johnny Unitas. Additionally, there's a souvenir gift pack to commemorate the opening of Giants Stadium in 1976, which includes a reproduction of a 1925 Giants-Yellow Jackets program, photo of the new stadium and bumper sticker. But wait - there's more! Such as the All-America Football Conference 1949 Record Manual, 1949 program from the San Francisco 49ers-Los Angeles Dons game, nine press photos and a College Football Commemorative (1869-1969) belt buckle. The overall condition of the collection is in VG to EX.
