When it comes to NBA championships, just about every team is "green" with envy when pondering the Boston Celtics' record 17 titles. Straight from the franchise's 13th trophy comes this 14-Karat Size 11 gold Balfour ring that reads: "NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS" on the top, encircling a basketball, The left side features the NBA logo flanked by "1976" and "TEAMWORK" underneath. The Right Side reads: "ANDERSON," "BOSTON CELTICS PRIDE" and the NBA Trophy with all the Celtics' championships to date listed. The ring was awarded to player Jerome Anderson, who played that one season - his rookie campaign - for the Celtics. The ring retains it's original nondescript Balfour box. The 1975-76 Finals was an unforgettable series that hinged on a controversy-riddled Game 5 at Boston Garden that went five overtimes. The C's prevailed and rode the momentum to victory in Game 6 at Phoenix to secure the title. The Suns would reach the Finals again but never come closer to a title than that Friday night in Early June on the famed parquet floor. Anderson played just one more NBA season, with the Indiana Pacers in 1976-77 before a year in the AABA with the West Virginia Wheels. He played and coached both in Norway and Sweden before succumbing to a long disease in 2009.
