From the second season of what is now known as the NBA (formerly BAA) comes this official signed basketball. No ball exists from the inaugural 1946-47 season, making this 1947-48 Baltimore Bullets specimen the earliest "NBA" championship ball available. It is distinguished by signatures from all 10 players on the roster and is vintage inscribed "BALTIMORE BULLETS 1947-48 B.A.A CHAMPS." PSA/DNA, JSA Global, and Grady Lewis LOA (former player). The 1946-47 Bullets - a precursor to the Washington Bullets - joined the then-seven-team league from the ABL that fall and went on to capture the crown, defeating the defending champion Philadelphia Warriors in six games.
