This lot contains two amazing, immense 11" x 14" full-color photographs taken at a White House event attended by Floyd Patterson. President John F. Kennedy was close to Patterson and actually warned him not to fight Sonny Liston, who scored first-round knockouts over Patterson in both of their meetings. Stamped on verso "Photograph by Herbert Breuer ASMP Member American Society of Magazine Photographers." There is one tear, but the colors are magnificent. Also includes a black and white print from the same source of JFK & President Truman.
