The 1989 World Series was dubbed the Battle of the Bay but will always be remembered for the earthquake that shook the San Francisco bay area before the start of Game 3. Here is a 1989 SF Giants National League Championship Ring - the Giants having lost the World Series to the Oakland A's. This ring was awarded to Mike Sadek, a Giants front office man at this time who also played for years with the team from 1973 through 1981. The ring is a size 9.5 and it weighs 40.5 grams. The face has the Giants logo surrounded by stones and the words "National League Champions." The right shank says "1989 World Series" while the left bears the name "SADEK" and the interlocking SF logo. Comes in original box.
