An exceptional one page, typed letter on Rocky Marciano letterhead to a sports editor. Dated 2/28/64, three days after the first Clay-Liston fight. Marciano admits he was wrong in his pick for the fight and states, "You were right about Clay's speed...." As to Liston's injury Marciano states, "As far as Liston's bum arm I have it on good faith he just plain quit in his corner..." In excellent condition with original folds.
