At first glance, this appears to be a game-used Mickey Mantle bat. However, upon closer inspection, it is not. The Hillerich & Bradsby 125 is a model K55. The labeling period is 1965-69. The bat was used, but not by the Hall of Fame switch-hitter. There is a piece of wood missing from below the area on the barrel where the facsimile signature is. On this piece would have been the name of a college, as schools often ordered professional model bats for their players to use. Someone even added a "7" to the knob to make it look like a Mantle gamer. One thing that is genuine is the 9/10 signature on the barrel. Measures 34.5" and weighs in at 31 oz. It was obtained in person.
