Very early wool jersey has "AFC" on the front. Blue and white, some of the colors have bled. Wm. Read & Sons tagging in the collar. Some small moth holes. Pants have matching tag in the waist band and are in fine condition. Comes with a fabulous broadside (EX) of the Foxboro, Mass. A.C. Basketball team promoting a function held on April 17th, 1911. This 21 1/8"x14 1/4" broadside features a photo of the team in the center. One of the players is wearing a jersey identical to the one being offered here! All items in this lot came together.
