Prior to "The Simpsons," "The Flintstones" was the standard-bearer for animated television series, becoming a prime time hit in 1960 and lasting six seasons. In 1966, a feature film called "The Man Called Flintstone" was released by Columbia Pictures. From that production comes this set piece - a "carved in stone" mug shot depicting best buddies Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble with the message: "FRED FLINTSTONE AKA: "TWINKLE TOES" carved under the character's heads. There is some paint loss, but it hardly diminishes from the novelty of this fine pop-culture "nugget."
