On August 7, 1930 at the Polo Grounds in New York, featherweights Jackie "Kid" Berg and Kid Chocolate met in an important divisional match-up. Berg prevailed in a very close, 10-round split decision in this non-title affair. Offered here are the boxing gloves, which have been bronzed, purported to be those worn by Jackie "Kid" Berg during this fight. The gloves are 11" long with minor scratching. Comes with an LOA from the collector who obtained these from a Berg family member in the 1980s.
