On August 18, 1962 at the Sports Arena in Tacoma, Washington, World Welterweight Champion Emile Griffith, fighting as a middleweight, moved up to take on tough Denny Moyer. Griffith stood up and won a hard-fought, 10-round split decision. Offered here is an original, on-site poster to the event which pictures the fighters and includes a vintage signature of Griffith in ink.
