This is the nicest basketball from this vintage that we have handled, by far! Completely unused and very close to NRMT condition, there is no stem for air, indicating that this was produced prior to the mid 1920s. There is a tough-to-decipher league logo printed on the ball, which includes leather laces. There is another stamp that reads "PROPERTY OF BOARD OF EDUCATION NEW YORK." A fantastic relic!
