On January 22,1973, Joe Frazier put his Heavyweight Title up against George Foreman. In a stunning event, Foreman knocked out Frazier in the second round to capture the title. Frazier was the champion and favored, but was repeatedly dropped by the heavy-handed Foreman as Howard Cosell announced, "Down goes Frazier"!
