John Heisman - the namesake of college football's Heisman Trophy - not only coached college football but also baseball and hoops, though not with the success he had on the gridiron, where he led Georgia Tech to the 1917 national championship. This Mounted photo shows Heisman in a Buchtel baseball uniform. He was coach of that team prior to his move to Atlanta. Buchtel later became the University of Akron.
