Reveling in the Yankee Clipper's early reputation as a ladies' man, cartoonist Gus Uhlman of the New York Post composed this pen and ink original in 1936 after Joe DiMaggio had received new heat therapy for a foot injury. It is in EX condition, signed by Uhlman to DiMaggio and comes framed. This was the Hall of Fame center fielder's personal property and was sold along with his estate. It comes with a letter from the DiMaggio family. The inscription in the top right-hand corner reads: "To Joe DiMaggio - keep hitting from NY Post staff, Hugh Bradley and Gus Uhlman. There are some whited-out spots that were part of the original edits. A letter of provenance from DiMaggio's grandchildren is included.
