These original documents from the 1932 and 1934 seasons are Official National League contracts to manage the Brooklyn Dodger Baseball Club. Both are signed by Max Carey and club officials including Sam McKeever, in addition to League president John Heydler. The signatures average 8/10 in ink, and the contracts have mailing folds. Carey was a Hall of Fame player with the Pittsburgh Pirates, with whom he swiped 738 bases - a National League record that stood for nearly half a century.
