This is the original photo in the original frame and looks exactly as it did when it hung in Christy Walsh's office. From the Fall Classic that saw the Yankees become the first team to post perfect Octobers in consecutive years, all the wording is hand-painted. It reads: "YANKEES VS. ST. LOUIS - WORLD SERIES 1928" with the posed principles also identified at the bottom: "ROBINSON, ALTROCK, GEHRIG, ALEXANDER, HUGGINS, WALSH, McKECHNIE, RUTH, McGRAW and HORNSBY." The overall condition is Very Good with some white spotting around the perimeter. Interesting note: Gehrig drove in 10 runs in this Series... the same number of RBI as the entire Cardinals team. Framed size is 20x15 inches.
