The history of midget car racer Bill Schindler is told in the pages of this wood-covered scrapbook. While he got his start racing sprint cars in 1931, Schindler was at the forefront of midget car racing at its inception in 1934. The black photo-album style pages contain numerous newspaper clippings from throughout Schindler's career and there are also several photographs - some autographed - from drivers of the era. The actual top and bottom covers of the book are made of wood and has hinges to allow opening. The cover has some chipping but this interesting artifact is overall in very good condition.
